It Won’t Be Compulsory For Nigerians To Take The COVID-19 Vaccines – Mamora

The Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora, has intimated that no one would be forced to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

He made this disclosure during an interview with Arise TV when he was asked whether taking the vaccine would be compulsory in Nigeria. He said;

“Nothing will be made mandatory. It’s optional. The choice is yours. Nobody will be forced to take any vaccine”

Mamora said it wouldn’t be a decision of Nigeria if the vaccine ever becomes compulsory in the future.

According to him, it might be the routine for some countries to demand a COVID-19 vaccination certificate before letting outsiders in.

3.92 million doses of the COVID19 AstraZeneta vaccines landed in Nigeria on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
