As news of Wizkid and Burna Boy’s Grammy Awards continues to trend, YBNL founder Olamide Adedeji has congratulated his compatriots for their historic moments.
Burna Boy won a Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album while his compatriots Wizkid also won a Grammy for his collaborative effort with Beyonce on the Lion King: the Gift album at the 63rd edition of the prestigious award scheme held on March 14, 2021.
Taking to his Insta-story to celebrate Burna Boy, Wizkid, Femi Kuti and other Nigerians who won an award, the indegenous rapper wrote;
“Congratulations to Wiz, Oodgwu, Queen Tiwa, Made Kuti, Femi Kuti… Grammy no be beans”
On the same vein, singer and songwriter Tekno has congratulated his colleagues Wizkid and Burna Boy on their big win at the Grammys last Sunday.
Burna Boy and Wizkid have been congratulated and celebrated a lot across Nigeria and Tekno has joined the many who congratulated them on their win.
He shared a photo of the two on his Facebook page as he congratulates them for putting Nigeria on the globe showing the world that they are the best when it comes to African entertainment.
Wizkid and Burna Boy are good just as Tekno and it’s only natural for him to congratulate them for opening the way for him and some other Nigerian artists.
