Akpem Terese Shadrach is a goal-driven, calculated, visionary and result-oriented change agent and entrepreneur with over 5 years of experience in the entrepreneurship and nonprofit space.
Dr. Shadrach; a Veterinarian by profession is the CEO of Mobovet Nigeria Limited (a Veterinary and agribusiness company), Founder of Youth with a future Initiative (an NGO focused on the SDGs, human resource development and governance) and Vet Connect (Nigeria’s first Digital platform that connects Veterinarians directly to pet owners and animal farmers).
Shadrach as a Digital skills Community manager at Mind The Gap has trained over 6,000 youths in the categories of job seekers, entrepreneurs and corporate workers in the last 4 years. In the non profit sector, he is the Advocacy and Engagement Lead of the Nigerian Youth SDGs Network where he works with a team of amazing youths working to localize the SDGs through quality education, civic engagement, activism and entrepreneurship.
In the last 3 years, Dr. Shadrach has won several awards including Hero Kickstart Foundation grant 2018, Winner, VetsArk Innovation Challenge 2019, ONE Champion 2018, Streetwize entrepreneurship reality show champion/2nd runner up among others.
These experiences over the years have helped him build solid capacity and experience in areas of entrepreneurship, Agribusiness development, policy development, project management, capacity building and youth empowerment.

- Mobovet Veterinary services: Veterinary service providers offer quality services in pet and livestock care, veterinary consultancy and farm set up, fumigation and professional training services.
- Mobovet Integrated farms: Livestock farm (poultry, ruminants, fish) that leverages animal production to provide sustainable funding models for rural women and youths in Agriculture.
- Vet-Konect: Nigeria’s veterinary digital platform that connect pet owners and livestock farmers to veterinary doctors anywhere in Nigeria regardless of reach.
- Mobo-Innovate: An incubation and co-creation hub that aggregates, trains, mentors and supports micro businesses and start-ups in Nigeria.
- Mobovet Business Angels: A funding portfolio that provides funding opportunities for businesses leveraging equity or debt financing with accompanying business support and mentorship.
For leisure, he loves intellecttual games like chess, scrabble, monopoly and connecting four while books around business, motivation, history and strategy form bulk of his reading interests.
