JUST IN: Simon Ekpa, IPOB disciple against polls in south-east, arrested in Finland

Simon Ekpa, a self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been arrested in Finland.

A top official in a Nigerian security agency confirmed the development to TheCable on Thursday.

A Finland-based newspaper, HS, reported that Ekpa was arrested by police in his residence located at Lahti, Finland.

He was said to have been scheduled for a newspaper interview before he was picked up by the police.

Recently, Ekpa declared that there will be no elections in the south-east zone of Nigeria.
