Kogi State Assembly Suspends Nine Members, Seven Council Chairmen

Kogi State House of Assembly has suspended nine lawmakers.

This followed a letter from Governor Yahaya Bello and his, All Progressives Congress party in the state on alleged acts of terrorism, electoral violence, and acts of insubordination as read by the speaker, Matthew Kolawole on Thursday.

Seven Local Government Chairmen and their deputies were also over alleged acts of violence during the just concluded elections in the state.
