Dr Mrs Doris Uzoka-Anite Support Iniative mobilizes electorates for Gov Uzodimma’s second term election
A political support group, Dr Mrs Doris Uzoka-Anite Support Iniative, DUASI has called on all eligible and registered voters in Imo state that are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s card, PVC, to take advantage of the new window opened by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, primarily for the off season elections to do so immediately.
In a statement made available to news men, the group urged Imolites to support the second term bid of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma for second term in office, noting that the Governor has done marvelously well since he assumed office considering the dynamics of the state.
The group listed some of Gov Uzodimma’s laudable projects to include, the Owerri- Orlu Road, Owerri- Okigwe road, Owerri – Umuahia road, renovation of the 305 Primary Health centers in the state, payment of 13th month salaries to Imo workers, rehabilitation of intra city roads in Owerri and it’s environs amongst others.
DUASI also disclosed their Plans of embarking on aggressively grassroot mobilization to sensitize voters on the need to return Gov Uzodimma to Douglas House, Owerri.
The group commended the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Mrs Doris Uzoka-Anite for championing enduring policies in her ministry since her appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
