PURPOSE-SPECIFIC ABRIDGED PROFILE OF PROF. ISAAC ZEB-OBIPI
Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi is the most senior Professor in the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management, Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt. He is the Director of the University Information and Communication Technology Centre, the life-hub of the University. He holds the following degrees: B.Ed. (Second Class Upper Division) in Economies, MBA in Management and PhD in Organisational Behaviour, a discipline focused on utilising knowledge of the determinants of individual and group behaviour in organisations to enhance performance. He was employed as an Assistant Lecturer in 1997 by the then Rivers State University of Science and Technology, from the Post Primary School Board (1991-1997). He rose through the ranks to become a Professor in 2018, a Professor of Management with research interest in Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
Prof. Zeb-Obipi has served and is still serving in several capacities, at all levels of the University: and some of these include:

Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi also has an extensive list of Gown-Town services to his credit as can be seen in his curriculum vitae, the most recent being his Chairmanship of the Technical Committee of the Energy Security Working Group (ESWG) in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). Abuja. He is a Chief of Ogoloma in Okrika Local Goverment Area (WALGA) of Rivers State, a Christian and is married with children. He has served the University very well. Twenty-eight years of in-depth and wide experience laced with appropriate qualifications and earned growth offers him a personal vision of contributions to make to the University.
