Nigeria’s Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, has emerged Super Minister of the Year at the DMOMA Awards 2025 (Heritage Edition), a recognition widely seen as a resounding endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and its bold infrastructure-first governance philosophy.

The honour celebrates Engr. Umahi’s central role in operationalising President Tinubu’s vision of economic revival through massive infrastructure investment, with renewed momentum recorded across federal highways, bridges, and strategic legacy projects spanning all geopolitical zones of the country.

Organisers of the DMOMA Awards described the Minister as “a driving force behind the Renewed Hope infrastructure revolution,” noting that his technocratic discipline, firm oversight, and uncompromising execution standards have repositioned the Ministry of Works as a flagship delivery arm of the Tinubu administration.
