Tinubu’s Aide Advocates For NIN Ownership, Restates FG’s Commitment To Empowering Small, Medium Scale Investments

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement – South-South, Hon. Gift Johnbull, has called on Nigerians to get their National Identity Numbers (NIN) as the President Tinubu-led administration is committed to strengthening small and medium Scale investments in the country.

Johnbull, who gave the charge while speaking to newsmen recently in Abuja, said the Federal Government’s empowerment of Nigerians through the National Social Investment Programme, which commenced in December, is already yielding tangible positive impact, with eloquent testimonies from beneficiaries.

She enjoined Nigerians to take advantage of the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of President Bola Tinubu by making sure that the possess all the requisite requirements to benefits from Federal Government schemes aimed at economically empowering households across the country.

The SSA stated that her office will strengthen partnership with the National Social Investment Programme in providing useful data to promote a more equitable distribution of resources to vulnerable populations, including children, youth, and women, which she stated, is consistent with the government’s resolve to address the negative effects of poverty and promote economic development.

She called on Nigerians especially the South-South to be alert to the economic empowerment made available by the present administration, while urging them to continue to keep faith in the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of President Tinubu.
