Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Eric has said that he respects the decision of his love interest back in the house, Lilo to dump him and return to her boyfriend.
Both Eric and Lilo became an item in the house within the first 48 hours when the show began and could not get out of sight of each other for too long and shared quite a number of intimate moments.
While Lilo was the second housemate to be evicted, Eric followed suit a week later.
Lilo had disclosed after her eviction that Eric was a distraction to her game in the house and added that he took advantage of her likeness for him while her time in the house lasted.
She also said she was going to reconcile with her boyfriend, who didn’t take her entanglement with Eric lightly, noting that what she would share with Eric going forward was just platonic friendship.
Eric, who was evicted last Sunday, also explained that his relationship with Lilo was not an act or any kind of strategy.
The Edo-born body builder had told Ebuka after his eviction that he was looking forward to taking his relationship with Lilo beyond the house, but on hearing what Lilo had said about her relationship with him, he said he was shocked but not surprised, and added that he respected her decision to go back to her boyfriend.
Responding to Lilo’s claim that he distracted her, Eric replied, “Lilo and I distracted each other.”
When asked about his thoughts about the other housemates, Eric explained that he believes Erica is playing a game with the Laycon/Kiddwaya love triangle, that Nengi’s behaviour in the house is a part of her strategy, and that he would like for Neo to win because he’s a great guy and a good friend.
Eric said he holds no hard feelings about being voted out, and he has a lot of plans for the future.
He told Ebuka that he is looking forward to expanding his fitness brand, develop an athletics apparel brand, launch a charity foundation, and go back to school to complete his Bachelor’s degree.
