Former Central Bank Governor, Professor Charles Soludo was on Wednesday attacked by unknown gunmen in Anambra State.
His media aide, Christian Aburine who revealed this in a statement said the former CBN chief was attacked in his home community in Isuofia while having an interactive session with some members of the community.
According to him, two policemen were allegedly killed in the process, while the whereabouts of Professor Soludo is currently unknown.
Soludo has thrown his hat into the November 6, 2021 governorship election and is touted to be a strong candidate in the race.
It is however not clear whether the attack is connected to his political ambition.
