Personality Of The Week: “Tici” Barrah

Temple “Tici” Barrah – the “Voice on Da Radio” is a multi-talented personality. He is an On-Air personality, poet, recording artiste, actor, creative voice over artiste, and an extra-ordinary event compere.

Born on the 2nd of May; he hails from Isiala Ngwa north L.G.A of Abia state and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management and Tourism from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

He has garnered over eight years of experience in the broadcasting industry which cuts across television, radio and print. He has interviewed some of the biggest brands in the entertainment industry and the political sphere.

A sought after event compere, he has distinguished himself from the crowd, disobeying the norms and exhibiting a high level of ingenuity while hosting various high profile events.
He has made a fair contribution to the Music industry, where he started as a studio engineer at Milestone studios, Port Harcourt working with the likes of Jesus Boy, Charles Granville, Lenny-B and Thick lips of Ijaw boys entertainment, to mention a few; singing back up for some of them and eventually recording his own songs.
He has been described as a combination of chocolate and vanilla because of his ability to anchor both entertainment shows and talk programs; and his dexterity in sports presentation and news reading.

He is currently an On-Air personality with Flo 94.9 FM, Umuahia, Abia state, where he is the host of “Morning Spice”, “Pure Hip hop”; and anchors “Sports Trax”, “Abia Speaks”, “Guy Code” and he is  exceptional at “The Birthday Call”. He has interests in fashion and modelling, cinematography and photography. He is married to the beautiful Mimi and they have a pretty daughter.
