Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has condemned the actions of the Nigerian government reopening school in the wake of the second wave of COVID-19.
The artist on Instagram referred to the decision of the government as wickedness and questioned them how many of their children are in those schools they have allowed to operate.
Seun Kuti said that a day will surely come when the leaders will reveal why they hate those hustling on the streets of the country and established the fact that the leaders are not ready to invest in virtual classrooms for them.
He said; “The only reason these children and undergraduates are forced to resume is because no one is willing to invest in virtual classrooms for them. There is no immediate profit to be made.
“This is wickedness. Pure and simple,”
